How much do I use?
One teaspoon (5 ml) of Sugarshots is equivalent to one
teaspoon (or packet) of crystalline sugar. Simply sweeten
to taste.
Is this simple syrup?
No. Sugarshots is liquid sugar. Sugarshots is carefully
crafted for sweetening premium coffees and teas, and
it uses the highest-quality cane sugars available. Our
careful crafting ensures a more stable product that
naturally resists recrystallization. In contrast, simple
syrups are more like sugar water, containing up to 50
percent water. In addition, simple syrups are typically
formulated using bulk beet sugars within a range of
formulations that can become unsavory and unstable.
I make my own liquid sugar.
