Sugarshots Inc., a U.S. based company, recently launched an innovative product aimed at filling a niche in the gourmet beverage industry. Sugarshots supplies liquid sugar in metered dispensers and single shot packs. Sugarshots claims to “do things crystalline sugar can only dream about.

Manufactured from premium liquid cane sugar, Sugarshots dissolves instantly, even in iced teas and coffees, sweetens uniformly and, because it sweetens so effectively, contains 25% fewer calories than conventional crystalline sugar.

While still tasting the same as natural cane sugar, liquid sugar metabolizes better, and doesn‘t subject consumers to such extreme peaks and valleys on blood sugar levels.

Sugarshots is sold in individual portions equivalent to one teaspoon of granulated sugar, and in metered 12.5 ounce bottles with drip-proof pump dispensers. Refills are packaged in 64 ounce bottles.

Four varieties are being marketed, Original, Organic, made from certified organic sugar cane, Turbinado, which enjoys a rich molasses flavor typical of a first pressing of sugar cane, and Sugarshots Free, sugar-free sweetener with a bright, honey-citrus taste.
